Who I Am

I've been working with cameras since I was 12 and am in love with the art of photography. You can trust me.

In addition to the commercial work you see on this site, I am exploring photography as therapy for individual development and also in conjunction with my work as a death midwife. You can learn more about the work at www.artlifedeath.com

I graduated from UIC's School of Art & Design in 2010. I was born in Kansas and lived on a farm or in the country until I moved to Chicago in 2005. I love music, cooking, board games, rollercoasters, fire-dancing, exploring and b-movies.

...oh, and I'm also in a band.

My expertise spans multiple disciplines and industries. I have worked in film and digital, with DSLR, 35mm, medium, & large format cameras. I have worked domestically and internationally. In addition to photo and video work, I somehow find time to teach private lessons.

I have worked with a variety of companies including Hulu, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, The Baha'i World Center,  GoDaddy Social, Witt Kieffer, Jameson Realty, WBEZ, Shapermint, SDI Presence, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Pepe's Mexican Restaurants, North Grand High School, LaSalle II Elementary, Innovare Social Innovation Partners, ShootSmarter University, Nepal Youth Orphan Foundation, NECO Home, CSC Consulting, Alarm Press, plus over 400 local businesses!

I would love to work with you too.
