Who I Am
Bio
I've been messing around with cameras since I was 12 and am in love with the art of photography. You can trust me.
In addition to the commercial work you see on this site, I am exploring photography as therapy for individual development and also in conjunction with my work as a death midwife. You can learn more about the work and see my fine art photography at www.artlifedeath.com
I graduated from UIC's School of Art & Design in 2010. I grew up on a farm in Kansas and moved to Chicago in 2005. I love music, cooking, board games, rollercoasters, and exploring new places.
I currently live in Humboldt Park with a little old dog who huffs a lot.
Expertise
My expertise spans multiple disciplines and industries. I have worked in film and digital, with DSLR, 35mm, medium, & large format cameras. I have worked domestically and internationally. In addition to photo and video work, I somehow find time to teach private lessons.
